Make teaching the Constitution a year-long activity!

FREE Constitution Day Resources for Schools

September 17 of every year is Constitution Day, a day to recognize the signing of the United States Constitution in 1787. In 2004, Congress passed a law mandating any school receiving federal funds of any kind provide educational programming on the significance of this event. Our next observance of Constitution Day will be Monday, Sept. 18, 2016 (it is observed on Monday because the holiday falls on Sunday).

We encourage all educators to make teaching the Constitution in your classroom a year-long activity.
