The ACLU of Indiana is thrilled to invite you to the second-annual LGBTQ Statehouse Day on February 18 and 19. These virtual days of action will bring together members of the LGBTQ community, service providers, community organizations, supporters, and law makers to discuss the experiences and needs of LGBTQ Hoosiers.
Join us Thursday, February 18, for a Resource Fair from 6:00-7:30PM EST, via Zoom. ACLU of Indiana’s advocate and educator, Kit Malone, will speak with a diverse group of LGBTQ leaders and organizations across the state. Organizations will provide an overview of their missions and the crucial services they offer. Join us to learn how you can advocate for LGBTQ rights in your community.
RSVP for Thursday here or tune in via Facebook or Twitter.
Then, on Friday, February 19, join the Lawmaker Forum from noon-1:15 PM EST, via Zoom. ACLU of Indiana’s director of advocacy and public policy, Katie Blair, will lead a series of discussions that pair lawmakers, from both sides of the aisle, with local leaders. Discussions will focus on issues of key importance to LGBTQ Hoosiers and how you can advocate for LGBTQ rights at the Statehouse.
