Hearings on anti-LGBTQ bills are continuing and we need Hoosiers to continue packing the Statehouse this Wednesday.
Close on the heels of the “Don’t Say Gay” bill’s passage out of committee, the Senate Health and Provider Services Committee has scheduled a trans medical care ban hearing for Wednesday, February 22.
SB 480 would prohibit families from providing life-saving, age-appropriate, evidence-based care for trans youth. This bill limits even standard affirming mental healthcare — and is part of a coordinated campaign to drive transgender people, particularly youth, out of public life.
SB 480 is being heard at 9:00 a.m. so we need you at the Statehouse at 8:00 a.m. to let legislators know, we will not stand by quietly while they push their Slate of Hate.
