With progress comes pushback, and that’s exactly what we saw in Indiana during the 2022 legislative session. Pushback against equitable education and conversations about racism in schools. Pushback against trans folks who simply want equal participation in public life. Pushback against the increase in voter turnout. And pushback against prosecutors who attempt to use their power to reduce racial inequalities in the criminal legal system.

We saw several highs and lows throughout session, but with your help, we were able to defeat a number of bad bills.
