Course #1: The Supreme Court 2023-2024 and A Preview of Things to Come

The significance of the Supreme Court’s most recent term can scarcely be overstated. It featured decisions on issues that have roiled the nation as well as decisions that demonstrated a Court willing to overturn longstanding precedent. A number of the cases will have ripple effects for years, if not generations, to come, including the overruling of Chevron and decisions concerning presidential immunity and elections. Course #2: Current Issues in the First Amendment

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution encompasses a whole range of topics relevant to today’s legal landscape. This seminar will explore many of these, including the Establishment and Free Exercise Clause, free speech and forum analysis, social media as well as standing issues in the First Amendment context. A discussion of ethical issues and the First Amendment will provide an provide an hour of ethics. Join us for this online CLE event!
