Decriminalizing the manufacture, possession, and/or use of drug testing equipment, for instance fentanyl test strips, is a commonsense reform that will save lives. Communities across Indiana already rely on test strips and other safety tools to protect themselves and their loved ones.

We should not punish Hoosiers for using a tool to keep themselves safe, and these bills will help our criminal legal system prioritize public health and safety over punishment.

HB 1167: Test Strips (Passed House)
